Hi Susan and Ellyn:

I just wanted to let you know that the house looks incredible. Your color scheme is truly a work of art. Bravo ladies.

Susan and Diana,

We want to thank you a million again. The “basement” palace looks spectacular! We love it. We need to hide it from the taxman, he he ha.

It seems we are all migrating there, but the upstairs spaces; kitchen, etc. are equally excellent.

This Sunday we went on a “scouting” trip for a piano. Yeah, sure. We ended up buying one – we think that the cabinet style fits perfectly. It is a studio size ( a bit smaller than upright) with a big sound. It’s coming home next Saturday. Eric is excited – played it in the store. You guys have to check it out.

Love the “basement” dwellers,
Very Happy Ones J

Dear Susan & Pam,

Bob and I cannot thank you enough for the beautiful makeover you did on our living room and dining room! We never could have imagined the type of transformation that you were able to achieve in our small rooms using most of our own furniture. The bursts of color you added were just what these rooms needed to come alive. Your design expertise and space planning skills changed our ordinary home to extraordinary. We loved the entire experience and can’t wait to work with both of you again.

Cathy and Bob

Dear Susan & Pam,

Many, many thank you’s for the lovely job you did transforming our very nondescript bedroom into something very special. Your expertise created the beautiful, warm, relaxing environment we were looking for. You were very thoughtful in considering our lifestyle, color preferences and budget in your planning. We especially love the lighting! Thank you for all your hard work and thoughtfulness. We can’t wait to start on the dining room.

Fondly,
Steve & Larie R.

Dear Susan and Pam,

Just wanted to let you know how much Ray and I are enjoying our recent makeover plus. It is so much more inviting in the large schoolhouse room and our family and friends think it looks great. We spent a lot of time with other renovations in our old schoolhouse and just needed someone with some design expertise to help us pull together this large room. With so many schoolhouse windows it was a challenge. Thank you again. It was a pleasure working with you both and incorporating all our furniture with some new pieces. I especially love the trunk.

Dear Susan and Pam,

I just wanted to share with you how excited I was to come home on the day of the big reveal, walk up to my new guest bedroom and peak into the newly decorated space. It was so exciting to see how you took a small, plain bedroom and transformed it into a beautiful, cozy retreat which we now call the “honeymoon suite”. My newly married son and his wife were thrilled with the room as are all those to whom I proudly display your work. This was a fun and exciting experience for me. I especially liked how you listened to what I wanted for the room, were mindful of my budget and incorporated my tastes into the finishes. Even my husband could not stop raving about the room and stops on his way down the stairs to take another look. I was unsure about the paint treatment and you asked me to trust you- I am so glad I did and I now see what you wanted to accomplish. This was by far the most successful and satisfying experience I have had working with a design team. You are both a pleasure to work with and I look forward to more projects in the future.

Dear Susan and Pam,

Where do I begin? For the first time in my 33 years of marriage I have two fully furnished and decorated rooms in my home!! Our bedroom looks like it belongs to someone else, someone who lives in one of those magnificent homes featured in magazines. Really, for the first few days after your visit I would run upstairs to remind myself that the beautiful room was actually part of our home.

Throughout the bedroom project, your guidance and suggestions were absolutely brilliant and practical. You always respected my ideas but gently helped me see that elegant decor and furnishings could work very beautifully in a farmhouse crafted room …and you were absolutely right! From the gorgeous window treatments to the silk duvet cover, matching fabric bed skirt and pillows to the little touches throughout the room – everything fit perfectly. My eyes just couldn’t get enough of your handiwork when I first walked into the room after you had finished.

Now, my conservatory, what can I say, it is just adorable! What made this particular make-over so surprising to me was that everything you used was already in the room, but just placed it in the perfect location by you both! This little room has the cottage look that I never knew it could have – your expertise in the placement and use of everyday table fabrics from my linen closet was so gratifying, finally having so many of those colorful linens out in the open for everyone to see. Using that little April Cornell breakfast cloth as the window treatment was perfect – who would have thought? My husband and I love to have breakfast in this room on the weekends, when it’s too chilly to sit on the porch. And you also know that it’s the favorite spot of my dad’s whenever he’s over for a meal or holiday. It was so sweet of you to remember to include a rocking chair for him to sit in!

Overall, this experience was more than having two rooms decorated. You need to know that I have learned so much and you have both made working with a decorator an experience that is comfortable, affordable, and most of all, fun! I can’t wait to begin our next project(s)!

Warm regards,
Ann Marie L.
